There are many complex aspects of becoming a successful startup. At NEH we have chosen to focus on soft skills, since many startups fail due to the team. By learning the right socio-emotional skills you get the tools to handle tricky situations, that might turn in to devastating clashes. As a team you need to know how to communicate, handle conflicts, and evolve alongside the needs of your business. It is essential understanding this to make your startup grow and prosper. Watch the video with NEH facilitator Asger Steenholdt as he explains the NEH way of working with teams.
NEH Team Tools
NEH Team Tools Bootcamp
The last 2 years NEH has held 4 NEH Team Tools Bootcamps for our participating startups, where we have tested different formats and tools. The result you find below: a selection of tools used over a 2-day bootcamp. An intense, but fruitful program. NEH has worked with the talent test TT38 and all participating startups have gone through the test before the bootcamp to give insight into their top talents and which areas to focus on. You are very welcome to download the tools and program for NEH Team Tools Bootcamps and use as you please. If you want more information or if you want to participate in the bootcamp yourself, please contact NEH here. The bootcamp is held once a year at one of the partner institutions.
NEH Team Tools Cookbook
NEH Team Tools Cookbook is a collection of ways to work creatively with socio-emotional competencies in teams and organisations. By creatively combining tools, triggers and transfers, you can facilitate nearly endless ways of planning and executing engaging workshops and learning situations. See the cookbook as an (almost) eternal variety of recipes ready for you to combine as best to suited.
You can download the entire cookbook as a PDF, but you need to separate each page into three parts: tools (peach colored box), triggers (yellow colored box) and transfers (green colored box). Scissor icons indicate, where you should cute the pages. We recommend a spiral binding to gather the pages of the cookbook. If you need more information or want to hear about how NEH has used socio-emotional competencies in the project, feel free to contact use here.
